“It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown,” Peppermint Patty and her team interrupt Charlie Brown and his team to psyche them out before the crucial game.
In this second clip, which is the emotional peak of the special, Charlie Brown chases after brokenhearted Sally to show her the transformation of the baseball field—which Sally learns she herself inspired with the protection of a single dandelion.
As an example of a very fast turnaround, this Minions 2 commercial for JD.com was completed in just two days. It shows my ability to put together clear, workable boards under a tight deadline, even when the drawings are still rough.
This sequence from Hotel Transylvania 3 is an example of my feature cartoony work: Dennis uses his super speed to disrupt a monster volleyball game. The clip plays without audio, but the action and comedy are still designed to read clearly. It was boarded in seven days.
This sequence from Sonic Prime showcases a more high-octane action style built around a cartoony character. I boarded it at night while simultaneously working on Peanuts during the day, so some of the drawings lean into shorthand. That’s one of the advantages of CG — the boards can stay loose as long as the staging and intent are clear.
